OUR HISTORY
Beacon House was founded in 2006, in Accra, Ghana, to assist orphaned and vulnerable children. Many of these children have disabilities or life threatening illnesses. Beacon House has also provided educational opportunities to ‘at risk’ children and work opportunities to single mothers and their families through special projects, scholarship sponsoring and trade training.

Our structure is unique whereby the children live in family homes in the community that meet their physical, social, educational, and emotional needs. Nearby, we have land where we are cultivating a farm and dream of building our own homes and a community library.
